Stephen Staunton, Liverpool and Ireland (the Clans and the Dominics) called in to the Sports Academy to talk to John Murphy in July 2011.
Stephen spoke about when he joined Liverpool in the 86/87 season, playing for Bradford City, playing in Wembley in the F.A. Cup Final and winning 3-2 against Everton.
Now he works as a scout for Middlesborough, trains with his local village team, plays for the Aston Villa All Stars and trains his son’s under-age team.
Stephen was home to promote the game in Oriel Park – Liverpool Legends versus Dundalk FC – to raise money for Ian Foster’s Dundalk FC team.
